Bistro 22

My friend Ama chalker told me about Bistro 22 a couple of days ago and seeing that it was baby boys birthday season we had to check it out.

Bistro 22 is located at 22 with sithole  street across from zenith bank labone Accra, it wasn't difficult to locate. We got there at about 3:20pm and their kitchen was about to close😒 it was calm inside with neatly arranged furniture and a see through glass wall that made it look even more attractive.

They have very well mannered and attentive staff, we weren't interrupted much by the waiters as we went through their well detailed menu and eventually ordered the barbecue chicken wings, cosmopolitan cocktail, two different burgers all with fries and shrimps and plain rice.

Prior to the arrival of our meal we got complementary fresh bread and breadsticks served with humus mixed with beet juice, the meal didn't take a long time to get ready and everyone's food came almost together ( I hate waiting for my food).

The wings were really hot and spicy,my friends enjoyed their meal as well and my cosmopolitan hit me pretty good too.they also had a breathtaking wine collection properly arranged in a shelf leaning against the wall.

Their prices were a bit up but totally worth it,the enviroment was really soothing and I'll recommend bistro 22 for business meetings and romantic/intimate lunch dates.
There's no love more sincere than the love for food.

Aunty Jane's fried rice

Hi guys,

My name is Obra Hutchison Bob-manuel and I am a foodie.

I have been really shy to admit this for a while now, but what the hell. I love to eat good food and I am proud of that.

All my life I have been surrounded by a lots and lots of food. This is because my mum is a caterer equipped with staff  that all cooked. Each of her staff knew how to cook all sorts of food but had at least two meals as their speciality; which they cooked extraordinarily well. I remember, my mother had this one cook, Aunty Jane, who made the best fried rice ever. If you are conversant with Nigerian food, you will know that only very few people add chopped liver in their fried rice. Aunty Jane happened to be one of those people. Her fried rice had the appropriate look; it didn't have the overly green look that comes with adding too much curry. Her fried rice didn't have too much oil or too much vegetable. It really was the definition of perfect. Too bad we relocated and my mum had to hire new staff.

Anyway,a few days ago, I saw a post which read "One cannot think well, love well and sleep well, if one hasn't dined well". I paused for a while and thought about this; it might not be completely accurate but there is a bit of truth to it. Food, and not just any kind of food but good, amazing, mouth-watering food, which is both appealing  and pleasing to the eyes that taste as good in the mouth, satisfying you  in every way possible.

My purpose for this blog, is to write about different types of food, from different restaurants, spots and even fast food. The blog will review and inform my readers about the delicacies, reception and location of these restaurants. Just so you could visit and also try them too.

If there is anything else related to food, that you would like to comment on and inform me about, please leave a comment below and I will respond accordingly.
